Community Green Landscape Group provides the services to keep your commercial property looking well maintained year-round.

We believe in providing our customers with flexibility in designing the grounds maintenance program that meets their needs.  Our customers can select as many or as few of the following service as they need.  Each service  can be priced out  separately to help you understand your costs.

Landscaping maintenance servicesSpring Cleanup

A fresh layer of mulch within neatly edged beds greatly adds to the curb appeal of your property.

Spring Cleanup is scheduled between late February and June 1.  Spring Cleanup Service includes a cleanout of normal winter debris, edging of all beds to a 2” to 3” depth, application of a pre-emergent at 1 lb. of active ingredient per 1000 sq. ft. of bed space, and a 2” layer of triple processed mulch.

Mowing

Our mowing service will maintain your grass at a healthy 3”-5” height. Our crews are trained to first check the grounds for trash, paper, large sticks, then mow all regularly maintained areas in an aesthetically appealing mowing pattern, trim all border areas, and finally blow clippings off of all hard surfaces and out of landscape beds.

Mowing service is scheduled weekly April through June.  Starting in July and going through mid-October, the mowing service will be scheduled every 10-11 days if unusually dry and/or hot conditions occur, or at the Property Manager’s request. An irrigated property will continue to be mowed on a weekly basis.  After mid-October, mowing service will be contingent upon grass growth which is affected by the varied Fall weather.

Landscape Bed Maintenance

Let us help keep your property looking neat and well maintained by keeping the weeds in the landscape and on hard surfaces under control.

Landscape bed maintenance includes chemical and manual weed removal from all regularly maintained landscape beds and on sidewalk and other hard surfaces.

Tree and Shrub Trimming and Pruning

Our employees are trained in horticulturally correct techniques for trimming bushes.  We prune all sucker growth from bushes and trees and trim all bushes of their new growth to maintain the bush in the correct shape and size for its type. Our crews also prune all ground cover from off walks, and from buildings.  The important final step is to thoroughly clean up the clippings from the bushes and landscape beds and blow off all surfaces surrounding the trimmed areas to leave everything looking neat.

We recommend at least two bush trimmings on a property per year, with three being optimal.

If two trimmings are scheduled for a property, these would be scheduled in May and then again in September.  If three are scheduled, these would occur in May, August and again in October.

Tree and Shrub Program

Trees and bushes can benefit from fertilization and insect control.  We recommend a program of three insecticide applications and two fertilizations as follows.

  • Insecticide:
Dormant Oil applied to all evergreens 15’ and under in early spring to prevent damage from spring egg laying insects. Two Broad Spectrum insecticide applications on all trees and bushes under 15’. These would be applied in late spring and then again in mid-summer.
  • Fertilization: Two applications of either surface granular or a liquid deep root feeding.  We recommend one of each, a granular feeding in the Spring and a deep root feeding in the Fall.

Landscaping maintenance servicesLawn Treatment Program

Help your lawn areas look their best with a balanced program of fertilizer and broad spectrum weed control applications.

Again, you can customize your program with anywhere from one to five applications of fertilizer and weed control products.  Typically, at least three applications provide the nutrients and weed control our customers’ lawn areas need.  Application 1, applied in early spring, helps control crabgrass and gives your lawn a balanced fertilization.  Application 2, applied in late spring helps give grass areas a boost before summer’s heat.  Finally, Application 3, which provides a quick release, nitrogen rich feeding, helps keep it green during the Fall months.

Outdoor Janitorial Maintenance
We offer an outdoor janitorial service at shopping centers where we provide other grounds maintenance services.  Our crews will visit your commercial center to check the parking areas, sidewalk, landscape beds, and grass areas for trash and debris, and change outdoor garbage can liners.  We can provide this service at the frequency you specify.

Sidewalk Edging

To keep your walkways looking neat and trimmed, we recommend regular sidewalk edging.  All sidewalk edges on your property will be mechanically edged to provide better definition and a neater appearance.  We recommend edging four to six times during the summer mowing season.

Flower Installation

Eye-catching flower arrangements add extra curb appeal to your property.

We provide three different flower installations programs.  Early spring flowers such as pansies are installed late March, Summer Annuals are installed in mid-May, and Fall Annuals are installed mid-September.

Let us design a flower installation for you.

Flower Maintenance

Flower installations can stay looking good all summer long with proper maintenance.  We can provide weekly visits to your property to water, fertilize and dead-head your spring, summer and fall annuals.

Leaf RemovalLeaf Removal

We all enjoy the beauty of the leaves on the trees in the Fall season, but when they fall to the ground, they need to be removed from grass and landscape areas to prevent killing the grass and to keep your property looking tidy.

This service includes the removal of leaves from the landscape beds, grass and regularly maintained areas of the property.  Leaves may be disposed of on the property or vacuumed into our trucks depending on the requirements of the property.  Leaf removal begins around the end of October when at least 50% of the leaves are on the ground.  Two or three passes through the property by the end of November may be required to removal all of the leaves.

Fall Cleanup

Freshen up your property’s landscape beds before winter with our Fall Cleanup Service.

Our crew will put fresh edges on the beds and turn the mulch.  We will do a final check for any lingering weeds and make sure fallen leaves are out of the bushes.

Snow Removal Cincinnati, Loveland, Dayton, Indian Hill, Montgomery, West ChesterSnow Removal

As a complete grounds maintenance company, we provide snow removal services on properties where we also provide summer maintenance services.

We are equipped with a large fleet of trucks, Bobcats and other heavy snow removal equipment.  We provide plowing, salting, and calcium treatments for your parking, street and driveway areas.  We also provide the manual labor necessary to clear your walkways of snow and then apply calcium to keep walks free of ice.
