Luke Wilson

Director Field Operations


Born and raised in Cincinnati, Luke grew up on a small hobby farm learning how to properly care for animals and how to successfully garden. At the age of 12, Luke was enlisted by a friend to begin working on a cattle farm and continued that work through his teen years. In 1988, Luke’s brother started a small landscaping business and Luke was his first employee. Since then, Luke has worked in almost every facet of the commercial landscape industry from high-end residential install to large scale commercial landscape maintenance. Along the way, Luke earned a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Religious Studies/Psychology along with certificates of completion in training courses such as Emotional Intelligence, Four Disciplines of Execution, Time Management, OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and Confined Space Safety to name a few. Luke also has successful experience in Facilities Management and Small Construction. Luke is an accomplished public speaker and is known for his impromptu “soapboxes” by those who have worked with him.

In my 32 seasons of service I’ve learned a thing or two along the way. Operations at Community Green Group

Joining the Community Green family in 2018, Luke continues to learn more about the team on a daily basis. Working with the leadership team, Luke assists Tony Newport and Rob Guilfoyle in guiding the operations of all branches. Luke firmly believes in the talent, knowledge and capabilities of each Community Green team member and truly enjoys providing training and education to help each team achieve its’ greatest success.

Outside of the Office

Luke enjoys spending time with family working on their small hobby farm which includes breeding Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Great Pyrenees Dogs, and random hybrid chickens. They also enjoy raising their own food and caring for their horses. Luke and his family enjoy recreational travel and plan to add increasingly more destinations to their travel agenda.
