My landscaping career started out as a summer job while I was in college with a smaller family owned company in Kettering, OH. It ended up turning into six years where I was running maintenance and installation crew on high end residential and commercial accounts. After that, I spent some time as an equipment operator doing excavating and concrete work with a larger company all over the state of Ohio. I then spent some time as a project manager/estimator for a hardscape company installing large commercial paver and hardscape projects in Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus.
I attended Sinclair Community College and Graduated in 2013 with an Associates of Applied Science in Construction Management. While there, I also completed the 30 hour OSHA safety training. I then transferred to Wright State University and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Organizational Leadership. I have been active in Boy Scouts since I was about seven years old doing all sorts of outdoor adventures. I earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2007.

Operations at Community Green Group
My role at Community Green started out as a Foreman running a landscaping crew. My crew did everything from plant installation, mulching, trimming bushes, cutting down trees, and everything in between. My new role at Community Green is working with Dave and Shane in the Dayton area and making sure all the crews have what they need and know what they’re doing each day. Also, working with the crews to make sure they’re working safely and that their equipment is properly maintained and in good conditions. I am a Landscape Industry Certified Technician so I am able to assist everyone in any questions they may have.
Outside of the Office
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughter, and our chocolate lab. We like do stuff outside, like grilling out, going to parks, relaxing at the pool with friends and family, and of course having the best landscaped house on the street.
